Merced Omana Obituary

Merced M. Omaña "Diding", 80, of Warrington, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 2, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Jovito Omaña, who predeceased her in 2014. Merced was born in Surigao, Philippines on November 19, 1944 to the late Vincente and Concepcion (Garrido) Medina. She was a Registered Nurse at Albert Einstein Medical Center prior to her retirement. Merced enjoyed traveling, gardening, exercising, and playing Mahjong. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren, who called her "Dada". Merced is survived by her two daughters: Josephine Omaña Santiago and husband Alex, Joanne Omaña Mariano and husband Jomar; her grandchildren: Emmanuelle (Zachary), Jared, Isabella, Jaden, Max, Kendyl; She was one of fourteen siblings. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 11 AM at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Ave, Warrington, PA 18976. A visitation will be from 10 AM to 11 AM at the Church. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
