Mary Stanhope Obituary
Mary Jane Stanhope, 89, of Janesville, died on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at UnityPoint Allen Hospital in Waterloo. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 30, 2026, at the Janesville United Methodist Church with burial following at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 29th, at Richardson Funeral Service in Cedar Falls. Online condolences at www.richardsonfuneralservice.com.

Worked with Mary at Sartori Hospital. Was more than a co worker was also a good friend. Bonded over our love of horses. I fondly remember the times my daughter and I spent at the farm. Always with a smile. Her laugh was infectious. Wonderful person. Kind person.

I had the pleasure of working with Mary for a number of years at Sartori Hospital. I remember her for her excellent work but more importantly, for her smile, laugh, and positive attitude. She was fun to be around. My condolences to the family.
