JOHN ALLEN THOMPSON, 75

John Allen Thompson left this world way too early on July 22, 2024. John was born in Havre, MT to John Henry Thompson and Loretta Mae Thompson on July 31, 1948. John was the oldest of six children - sister Betty Ann (1950), Gary (1951), Robert (1953), David (1956), Steve (1960). John attended the Air Force briefly after graduation. After service he then went into the medical field (nursing homes, hospital) as a CNA. John enjoyed outdoor activities and life in itself. In April of 1970 he met Linda Danell. John and Linda married at Plains MT., Methodist church. They had a son John Michael Thompson, born July 9, 1971, first grandchild to Loretta

Thompson/Porter. John married a few other ladies having other children - Nikki, Sheena, Jeromy, Alexis and Elizabeth. Later in life John became a rodeo clown for a number of years. He also became Santa Clause, had the entire suit, and every year he was asked back as he portrayed Santa accurately. Far later in life he found his passion for horses. He had four plus trained and worked with many others becoming a good trainer/cowboy, chaps spurs and all. He is preceded in death by father John Henry, mother Loretta Mae, brother David, daughter Alexis

and niece Shandy. John was a father, grandfather and uncle. He will be missed and will continue to train horses in Heaven.
