Edith Cox Obituary

Cox, Edith J. SLINGERLANDS Edith J. "Edie" Cox, 90, died peacefully on May 30, 2022. Edith was born in Albany to the late Walter and Anna Mae Fieseher. Growing up in Ravena, she was the youngest of four siblings, who remained very close throughout their lives. Edith's life took her to several places in Upstate New York and Florida before settling in Delmar. Edie was an impeccable dresser and always had her hair and nails done to the nines. She was likable and fun loving with an infectious laugh. Edith is survived by her loving daughter, Suzanne Tozzi; her grandchildren, Marissa Malandrino, Joshua Tozzi, Louie Cox, and Natalia Cox, and many nieces and nephews who adored her. She was predeceased by her sisters, Audrey Diacetis and Shirley Arceneaux; and her brother, George Fieseher. She was also predeceased by her husband, Fletcher Cox III. All services were held privately at the convenience of the family.
