Timothy Alan Broome

August 10, 1950 - November 9, 2023

Oak Island, North Carolina - Timothy Alan Broome "Tim", 73, of Oak Island, NC passed away peacefully on November 09, 2023, surrounded by his brother (Frank), sister (Martha), two sons (Alan & Ryan), and dear friend (Linda Lampman-Ebert). Tim grew up in West Columbia and graduated from Brookland Cayce High School in 1967. He was able to enjoy his last week in his beloved Beach House and relive their life together before he passed on to a greater Heavenly life.

Tim was a very successful certified residential home builder and won many awards in the annual Parade of Homes. He began his career in the construction community learning his trade from Moseley Builders (his father-in-law). Whenever opportunities were presented, he accepted the challenge. He then went on to be the Forman for MC Smith Builders and in 1987 formed his own TAB Builders. Even through his retirement years you could always find him building, remodeling, and creating things that would amaze us all.

Tim was predeceased by his father and mother Frank & Patricia, and wife Judy.

He is survived by his sons Alan (Holly), Ryan (LeeAnn), his grandchildren Silas, Sophia, Elliott, Hampton and Cooper; his brother Frank (Lisa), sister Martha (Phil) Black, half-brother John J Vienneau, and the mother of his children Gail Moseley Broome. We shall be forever grateful for the life spent with Tim and the everlasting memories. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.

A celebration of life will be held in his honor. We request all of Tim's loved ones and friends to join us in celebrating him at Golden Hills Country Club, Lexington SC, on Thursday November 30 from 5 - 8 pm.
