Michael Zinicola Obituary

Michael J. Zinicola of Antelope, California passed away February 22, 2022. Michael was born on June 26, 1952 to the late Joseph L. and Alberta (Neureuter) Zinicola, Sr. He was also predeceased by his sister, Alberta (Robert) McAllister, and brother Joseph L. Zinicola, Jr. Michael is survived by his long time companion, Carla Sterner; her son, Shaun, and her granddaughter, McKenna Duarte. He is also survived by his son, Patrick (Cheryl) Zinicola, and granddaughter, Kaycee of Show Low. AZ; his sisters, Francesca M. (Vincent) Grenkevich, and Mary E. (George) Myers, and brothers, Antonio, Nicholas (Lynn), and Stephen, all of the Harrisburg area. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. He also leaves dear friends, including Jean and Joe Manzella and family. Michael graduated from Bishop McDevitt H.S, Penn State University, and the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law. He was a practicing Attorney for 38 years. Michael was a kind, generous person with a great sense of humor. He adopted many pets over the years, both large and small. He will be dearly missed by friends and family. Celebrations of life and services will be held at later dates in Antelope, California, and Harrisburg, PA.

My condolences to all. Mike was an uptown Harrisburg guy and a friend. Although I did not go to school with him, I got to know him due to the uptown neighborhood. May you Rest in Peace Mike, you are a good friend and a good man.
