Sharon Allen Obituary

Sharon Lee Allen passed away peacefully at McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at the age of 82.

Sharon was born on September 17, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to Aaron and Margaret (nee Miller) Brown. She attended Lakeview High School in St. Clair Shores and graduated in 1961. Sharon began working for Fisher Dynamics making and inspecting safety restraints until the time of her retirement in 2010. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling. Sharon was very crafty. She made plastic canvases and crocheted. Her favorite things to make were Christmas decoration and many people have her hand made crafts for their homes. She loved to play bingo and take trips to the casino with her family and friends. Sharon was loved by so many and her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Sharon is survived by her grandchildren, Amber (Julian) Mitchell, Jamie (Devon) Brooks and Danelle Brooks; five great-grandchildren; sister, Vicki (Rich) Vandevelde; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Sharon is preceded in death by her daughter, Shari Phelps; brothers, Dale Brown and Gerald "Jerry" Brown, Sr.; nephews, David Brown and Keith Brown; and parents.
