Bernadette Margaret Askew, age 57 of Las Cruces, NM passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, 11:00 am, Bethlehem Baptist Church, 106 Calhoun Street, Clovis, NM, with Pastor Delmus Gillis officiating. Burial is scheduled at 1:00 pm at Mission Garden of Memories, 2900 W. 7th Street. Joseph Olvera, Mike Olvera, Jason Olvera, George Villarreal, Daniel Martinez, and David Gonzales will serve as pallbearers.
Bernadette was born on March 29, 1968, to Juan Flores and Adella Zamora in Friona, TX. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and dogs, Bingo, going to church and singing.
Survivors include two children; Francsico Dominique Askew and Ravin Askew both of Las Cruces, NM, one brother; Juan Flores (Delia) of Lubbock, TX, three sisters; Josie Gonzales (Jimmy) of Lubbock, TX, Nikie Villarreal (George) of Bovina, TX, Anna Martinez (Marty) of Clovis, NM, and her doggie; Simba and grand dog Salty.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Juan Flores and Adella Zamora, first husband; Bill Eugene Askew, second husband; Mark Shore, daughter; Markita Askew, son-in-law; Moroni Molifua and sister; Celeste Olvera.
