Barbara Gough Obituary

Barbara Janis Gough (nee Klosterman), 80, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 peacefully after a yearlong illness in her hometown of Barberton, Ohio. Her family was her pride and joy. She spent countless hours helping entertaining, teaching and loving them. She never said no to a babysitting request, watched and cheered on her children and grandchildren at as many of their events that she could attend. She had an open door and a listening ear for any support that was ever needed. Barbara will be remembered by her family and friends as a woman with amazing grace and beauty. She is loved and remembered by her husband of nearly 60 years, Thomas Gough; children, Danielle (Michael) Whitcomb and Brett (Julie) Gough; grandchildren, Alex Whitcomb, Gabrielle (Harold) Encarnacion, Andrew Whitcomb and his fiancée, Annie Nataro, Sophie Gough, Gwyneth Whitcomb and Spencer Gough and her beloved great-grandbaby, Jaylen Thomas Encarnacion. Also remembering her lovingly is her circle of friends, from Oriana House, where she worked for 27 years to her dear "Card Club" friends of over 55 years. Barbara's funeral service will be held Friday, July 29, 2022 at 11a.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park. Ave., Barberton. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 28th from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Barberton Noon Kiwanis, P.O. Box 304, Barberton, Ohio 44203.
