Ripon, California - Robert Adam Wildt was born in Broadmead, Oregon on August 29, 1933 to Gladys and Adam Wildt. He returned to God and Jesus on September 5, 2023 while in the care of family at his home in Ripon, California.

A loving, hard-working, and talented father, veteran, artist, and truck driver, Robert was also a helper, a mentor, and a sincere believer in God. As a father, he loved and raised three sons. As a husband, he loved and respected his wife and their home for 57 years. As a professional, he was a local truck driver for approximately 30 years. In his early adult life he honorably served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, with most of his service years being on the U.S.S. Midway that is now permanently docked in San Diego. During the 1960's to the early 1970s, he and his wife managed the Wildt Art Gallery that offered art lessons, art supplies, and custom framing.

Robert had an unwavering faith in God, and a commitment to helping family. He had a dry, yet imaginative sense of humor, and was very calm and respectful when communicating with other people.

Robert was predeceased by his wife Mary Wildt, his son Wesley Wildt, and his siblings Wesley Wildt, and Marjory Wildt. Robert is survived by his son Robert R. Wildt and his wife Michele, his son Darrell Wildt and his wife Brittney Wildt, and his sister Dorothy Collins. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild: Robert J. Wildt, Teri Wildt, Melody Wildt, Asher Wildt, Mary Wildt, Marti Wildt, Patrick Bell-Wildt, William Bell-Wildt, and Lila Wildt.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella.
