Nikolas Santana Obituary

Nikolas Richard Santana
March 11, 1994 - May 4, 2022
Modesto, California - On May 4th 2022 the world lost a remarkable young man far too soon. Nikolas Richard Santana a recent addition to Chelsea Oklahoma. The son of Matthew and Rhonda Santana and Kay Anderson was born on March 11th 1994 in Modesto, CA. He was the beloved brother to Cynthia Mascherini, Kristopher Santana, Kyle Johnson and Mason Santana. He was a favorite uncle to Nathan, Michael, Bodhi, Liberty, Cadence and Matthew. He adopted a few others on his journey through life as well Reef, Daxton, Nathan, Brooklyn and Kinley. The dearly loved grandson of Richard Anderson and nephew to Erica Santana, Jason Santana Kim Mindler and Kelly Anderson McFall. While Nik had many friends, he had some that were more like family Niko Coker, Nyvonne Bilch and Tiffany Sanders they have also lost their brother.
Nik was a gifted craftsman and mason. He gained his skills and work ethic under the mentoring of his proud father Matthew. Music was one of Nik's greatest passions, with talents as a writer and lyrical artist. Niko and Nik would spend countless hours creating music. His songs live on which gives his friends and family a direct connection to Nik's heart forever. Nikolas was like Stillwater, cool, steady and dependable. His waters ran deep.
Nik kept many tokens of his life, from notes from his sisters to Nik-knacks and souvenirs and letters from family and friends. They are the hallmarks of his life. A story, each their own.
Nik enjoyed cooking. After much trial and some comical errors he was becoming quite the "pit master" as well as "master chef" in the kitchen. We believe that his love of food and adventure came from his father. He enjoyed trying new food with Matt. They could never decide on one thing to order. This dilemma was conquered by just ordering it all and sharing. He began adding gardening to his list of talents. Working with his sister Cynthia and brother in law Shane Mascherini at their home in Oklahoma. He was always up for Fishing with his brother Kris anywhere they could and continued that tradition in Oklahoma with his nephew Nathan. He was all smiles when he was with his sister Mason. The Same Smile, if you ever want to see his smile you can look at her beautiful smile. It is an identical match to Nik's. His passion for music and art was shared with his brother Kyle. He had great faith in his brother's artistic abilities.
The loss of Nik is felt by all who knew him. The family takes comfort in knowing that Nik will continue his relationship with the Lord in Heaven. We rejoice in knowing that we will be together again.
Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you with me that you also may be where I am.

Praying for comfort for your family. Nik accompanied us on trips to Idaho and Humboldt, and visited my mom in assisted living. He was a joy to be around and his smile was so contagious.
The memories he left will be cherished.
