Gabriel Bettencourt Obituary

Gabriel Bettencourt
Oct. 18, 1958 - June 15, 2021
Resident of Ventura
Gabriel Arlindo DaSilva Bettencourt passed away on June 15th, 2021 in Ventura, California. He is survived by his wife (Stephanie), children (Evan and Veronica), grandchildren (Dino and Emmie), ten brothers and sisters (Manuel, Agostinho, Maria Alcide, Ligia, Albert, Fatima, Lisi, Carlos, John, and Diane) and dozens of cousins, nieces, nephews, and siblings-in-law. In addition to his family, Gabe will be remembered fondly by the large network of friends from his decades bartending in the San Jose/Los Gatos area, whom he welcomed into his family with open arms.
A celebration of life is planned for October in San Jose to commemorate his birthday. Donations may be made in his honor to the Sociedade Filarmónica Nova Aliança in San Jose, to help keep his love of music alive for future generations of Portuguese-Americans.
Please remember him with a laugh - he would not want it any other way.

Rest In Peace our friend and fly with the angels in heaven. We will hold tight our memories of time spent together.
We were just carefree young adults, just yesterday! God bless your family!
