George Marble Obituary

APOKA, FL/STANLEY, N.Y. - George Paul Marble, age 75, passed away on March 18, 2026.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 28 from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the Perkins-Ames Funeral Home, 2583 East Main St., Gorham, N.Y. 14461. A celebration of George's life will be held immediately following calling hours at the Canandaigua Moose Lodge, 305 Ontario St. Ext., Canandaigua, N.Y. 14424.

George was born on November 6, 1950, a son of the late Earl and Viola Marble. He was a graduate of Penn Yan Academy. George was employed at Farnsworth Chevrolet in Canandaigua for over 30 years where he ultimately served as General Manager. He was a family man, enjoying yearly trips to Disney World with his children and grandchildren. George enjoyed fishing, hiking and especially camping.

George is survived by his sons, Gary (Shannon) Marble, Jerry (Betty Jo) Marble and Kenneth (Stephanie) Marble; grandchildren, Colby (Leah) Marble, Allison (Eric) Schanbacher, Connor Marble, Alexis (Ryan Bailey) Marble, Nathan Marble and Emmett Marble; one great-grandchild on the way; step-grandchildren, Ryan Schlenker and Cassie (Nathan) Brillian; step-great-grandchildren, Jamison and Hans Schlenker and Lawton and Dorothy Brillian; his brother, Robert Marble; niece, Tracey Marble as well as many cousins.

George was predeceased by his parents and his wife, Marylou (Campbell) Marble.
