Michael Nisonger Obituary
Michael Eugene Nisonger, 66, of Versailles, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, August 11th, 2024. Mike passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones after a valiant 6 year battle with cancer. He was born October 16th, 1957 in Greenville, Ohio to the late Paul and Reda (Hoggatt) Nisonger.
Michael is survived by his wife Betsy Nisonger. Sons: Seth and Calleigh Nisonger, son Alden. Ryan and Erin Nisonger, sons Bronson, Isaac, Winston, and William. Kyle and Alison Nisonger, sons Silas and Evan. Ian and Kelly Nisonger, son Finnley. Father in law Ray Lavy and Mother in law Barbara (Smith) Lavy. Siblings: Patrice Padula, Ron Nisonger, Phillip Nisonger, Sharon Johns, Jane Jones, Thomas Nisonger, Lisa Oyer. Siblings in law: Dick Lavy, Dixie (Lavy) Little.
A memorial service will be held in celebration of Michael's life at Oakland Church of the Brethren, Bradford, Ohio on Saturday, August 31st, 2024. The family will be receiving guests from 10-11am followed by the memorial service. In conclusion of the service, the family invites all guests to share a meal together in the fellowship hall.

Mike was an amazing father, grandfather, husband, and a truly incredible man. I'm so grateful for his presence in our lives and the memories we shared. Mike and Betsy have always felt like second parents to my brother and me, with Betsy babysitting us for years, and us growing up alongside their boys. We have countless wonderful memories of farm life, exploring the woods, and swimming/fishing in the pond. I´m especially thankful Mike was able to meet Clark.
All of our love to his family and friends during this difficult time. He will be greatly missed.

Mike and I met the first time in Hawaii for our children´s wedding, second time in Seattle for Finnley´s first birthday. All good memories. The third time will be in heaven, with all our love ones. I miss you.
