Dorothy Sherman Obituary

Dorothy J. Sherman, 92, of Galway, was called home to the Lord on January 25, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Dorothy was born on January 31, 1931 in Middle Grove to Louis and Anna Eichorst. She lived most of her life in Galway alongside her loving husband of 59 years the late George A. Sherman.
She enjoyed reading, Hallmark movies and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Linda and Ron Richmond of Gansevoort, Terry and Barb Sherman of Sharon Springs, Peggy and Jim Ostrander of Galway, Carol Smith of North Carolina, Betty and Norman Neahr of Galway, Pamela Sherman of Fonda, Bonnie Sherman of Malta and James and Sandi Sherman of Sharon Springs, 14 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Visiting will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at the Richard J. Ryan Funeral Home, Inc., 2034 West Street, Galway. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in Galway Village Cemetery.
