Xenil Wilson Obituary

born May 27, 1928, passed away November 6, 2023. Xenil Jefferson Wilson, who often went by the nickname "Jeff", passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on November 6.
She was married to Calvin Wilson for 76 years and was a devoted wife and mother to her three sons Gregory, Mark and Jay(deceased).
She leaves behind 5 grandchildren: Brent, Ross, Hillery, Ryan and Kelly as well as 7 great grandchildren: Bryce, Brady, Logan, Wilson, Sienna, Presley and Camden.
Xenil, a 1946 graduate of Chagrin Falls High School, was an avid reader and always worked the Sunday crossword puzzle. Her favorite author was James Patterson as she always enjoyed a good murder mystery. She was a regular at the Geauga County Library branch on Washington Street. One of her favorite television shows was Perry Mason.
Her favorite sports team was the Guardians. She and Calvin went to Progressive Field or listened to the games on the radio.
She was a wonderful homemaker and an outstanding cook. She was always willing to share her time and talents and a few recipes, in particular, her Christmas cookies.
There will be no service. Internment to take place at Knollwood Mausoleum.
Donations in Xenil's name may be made to Adoration Hospice, 6133 Rockside Road, Suite 20, Independence, OH 44120 or the Geauga County Public Library.
