Janice Dianne Smith
BISMARCK - Janice Dianne Smith entered into heavenly peace on July 13, 2022. Memorial services will be on Friday, July 22, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. at the Bismarck Funeral Home.
Jan was born on April 13, 1943, in Carson, ND to Adolph and Albertina Bonogofsky. At the age of three she was diagnosed with Polio, which she did survive. Jan graduated from St. Mary's High School in Richardton, ND. Jan went to college at BJC for one year. She worked for Job Service for thirty-seven years. During that time, she met her spouse Gary in Minot. They were married on April 17, 1971.
After retirement Jan enjoyed traveling, taking small trips here and there, or big trips to Pennsylvania and Australia. Her greatest achievement in life were her three children. Her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching them grow and attending their activities as much as she could.
Jan is survived by her husband, Gary; children: Diane and Ronny Glatt, Darren and Erin Smith and David Smith; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and brothers: Vern, Jim, and Gary Bonogofsky.
Jan was preceded in death by her parents and eldest brother Ken.
