Sandra Davies Obituary
Sandy was united in marriage of September 19, 1987 in Hinckley, IL to Jess Davies and they spent the next 34 years happily together. Mrs. Davies was a longtime member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Batavia, IL. Sandy was employed for many years as a Social Worker with the Sandwich Community School District in Sandwich, IL. She enjoyed quilting but nothing was more important to Sandy than spending time with her family. Sandy was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and her many friends.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Jess Davies of Hinckley, IL; her children, Kyle (Kelsy) Davies of Childress, TX and Madison Davies of Hinckley, IL; her father, Robert W. Chaney of Elgin, IL; her sister, Susan (Mark) Siekierski of Batavia, IL; as well as many nieces and nephews including Hope and Matthew Siekierski.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jean Chaney; her brothers, Daniel Chaney and Scott Chaney; and her step-mother, Lucy Chaney.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 2300 Main Street in Batavia, IL. Interment will follow in the West Big Rock Cemetery in Big Rock, IL.
Friends may visit from 3:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel, 141 North Maple Street, Hinckley, IL.
