JOAN SHAW Obituary

MRS JOAN SHAW,aged 87, of Haslemere passed away peacefully in the Royal Surrey hospital, Guildford, on 25th May. Joan was born in Darlington and lived in Ashby-delaZouch,Chesterfield and Buxton before moving to Haslemere in 2013. She was a past President of Inner Wheel in Buxton, had many interests throughout her life and loved meeting people.She spent many happy years cruising with Eric, her husband, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandson.Joan was much loved by her two daughters and their families, whose passing will leave a huge void in their lives and those of her friends. Her smile and sparkling blue eyes will always be remembered.Joan's life will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Haslemere on Wednesday 19th June at 1:30 pm, followed by a private committal at Guildford crematorium.Donations, if desired, for Cancer Research UK and Royal Osteoporosis Society can be made at https://joan-shaw-1936-2024.muchloved.com
