Stuart WATSON Obituary

WATSON, Stuart James (Wattie). On Sunday 8th September 2024 - the "King of the Pickers" picked his last load. Our hearts are broken, you were, and will always be our Brother and Uncle Wattie. We will all miss your late night arrival for that coffee, in your latest purchase (bargain), turning up for Birthdays and Christmas, and every other momentous occasion that our family had, for over 45 years, where there was always a good feed, and a good laugh. The "Watinator" - we love you always, we are all so sad to see you go. Your "Wayward Hayward" whanau, Brian and Nicky, Lynette and Neil, Miria, Lily, Julie and Russell, Carol and Brad, Cheryl, Kelly, and your millions of nieces and nephews. We will see ya when we are looking at ya xxx

Lynda & me had a house lot to clean up 4 years ago we were shiting bricks about what he would say about it all he pulled up in powerpoll truck he cam up to the to house scratching his head we were sorry there was so much cars scrapmeatle mowers bikes well it was all there und sheds full he sead ,don't be sorry if you think that's a lot you need to see what Iv got mountains of scrap , well we did und from then on we became good friends he was a very hard worker und a great friend to us were so thankful to have met him every time we went to see him or he cam to see us he was always welcome so Sad such a good man had to leave us he will be sadly missed bless him.
He came into our lives through "dickering" made an impossible job of clearing the house and section doable.
We laughed with each other because I paid to have what turned out to be the neighbours trees trimmed.
A l laughed at him because he burned the neighbours shed down, as it turned out.
Never a dull moment.
Thank you for everything Watty.
Always treasured.

Sending my heart felt condolences to Rochelle, Alissa, family, and friends.
The shock waves of Watson's passing have travelled far and wide, all the way to me in Sicily. Since hearing this sad news, my mind has been in reflection mode, memories of laughter, adventure, working hard, and positive learnings.
Rest Easy Watson.
With respect and love, Mirna and the Jackson family.

WATSON, Stuart (Wattie). Much loved and respected uncle, dearly loved and admired friend and mate! Your knowledge, advice and unconditional love and support is already being missed. You loaded your last load Wattie, but had so much more to do. Gone too soon, you will be forever young and will never be forgotten. Always, you will remain, Miria (Mini) and family.
