Wouter BEEK Obituary

Passed away peacefully at The Wood Retirement Village on Monday, December 16, 2024, aged 83. Much loved father of Nichola, Julienne and Crispin. Opa to Jamie, Oz, Molly, Felix and Phoebe. Great-Opa of Brooks and Ada. Beloved by Rose and her family. In the 60's and 70's Henk was a dedicated surf lifesaver. In the 80's he opened his own electronic repairs business. From the early 80's Henk was an active and passionate resident in Glenduan, Nelson. A private farewell to be held.

Hello to the family, sorry to hear of your loss, Paul and I enjoyed ourselves spending a little time with Henk while he was in the the Wood retirement village , reminiscing about older times when he had a service shop - customers and jobs that would come in for service. It was really good catching up with you Henk.... Darren and Paul.

To Henks family and Rose It is with great sadness to hear of Henks passing he has fought a mighty battle now is free of pain. Has been great making this wonderful surf club connection from mid 60s and shared many stories and had some great laughs of days gone by. And pleased to have spent a few hours with Henk a few weeks ago with couple of his surfing mates. He still had his version what really happened with some stories being told . Told me as leaving don't forget to bring those chocolates into me as nearly run out!! RIP Henk
