William BECKER Obituary

Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 28, 2025, aged 81 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Joyce. Much loved father of Wayne, and Sharon. Loved and respected stepfather to Laurel and Lew, Lex (dec), and Roger (dec). Cherished Grandad to Lisa, Emma, Daniel, and Hayden. Great-Grandad to Alex, Fergus, Jessica, and Paige. Heartfelt thanks for the care and support from the district nurses and the community hospice team. In accordance with Harry's wishes a private cremation has taken place. Messages to the Becker Family, c/-164 Tahunanui Drive, Nelson 7011.

so sorry to hear that he has passed, i worked with Harry, we were known for our spontaneous waltzing around the call centre. He was a pleasure to work with. My condolences to the family he did talk very fondly of. Lucy

Happy memories of you Harry, so glad I popped in to see you before xmas. You had a way with customers no one else could get away with saying, made us laugh at times. Enjoy the journey, not the end of the road mate.

Harold !! my friend of over 40 years from TNL days , the self appointed company " cultural attache " , whose laughter , and language phrasing , brought a smile to many . Enjoy your trip upstairs mate , save me a seat .

Dad, we will miss our catch ups with lots of laughter of the stories you tell, when young , and stories now, your Grandchildren Mark, Casey, Kirsty ,Scott , and their families will hear some of them also.
It's hard to say goodbye but the family awaits you in Heaven.
