28.7.1930 - 12.1.2017Stanley passed peacefully at The Wood Rest Home watched over by family. Beloved husband of Hilda May Abernethy (dec). Dearly loved father of Alison, Christine, Eion and Scott. Loved father-in-law of Anna and Linda. Proud Grandfather of Shaun, Eamonn, Jordan, Eve, Hugo and Audrey. Loving friend of Barbara for 16 years. Grateful thanks to all the staff at Nelson Tasman Hospice and The Wood Rest Home. Messages to 98 Tasman Street. A ceremony farewelling Stanley will be held at 98 Tasman St, Nelson, at 1.30pm on Saturday, January 21. All welcome.
