Wendy LOGAN Obituary
LOGAN, Wendy Geraldine:
On Monday May 18, 2020, passed away suddenly in her own home. Much loved wife of the late Bill Logan. Adored mother of Dave and Jane, Mark and Ellie, Marg, Brian and Fi, Helen and Barry and Ali and Matt. Beautiful grandmother of Ava, Dylan, Sam, Emma, Kelsey, Shelby, Clay, Tessa, Saffie, Giorgia and Hugo. Precious daughter of the late Peter and Delia Tupper, and loved sister of Jeff and Colleen, Steve and Lesley, much loved aunty of Vaughan, Trudie and Stuart. Joyous friend to many, in NZ and all over the world. As requested by Wendy, a private cremation has been held. A Memorial Celebration of Wendy's rich and full life will be delayed until family can return to NZ. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to a cause that Wendy was passionate about - the fistulafoundation.org. Messages to 84 Dormer Road, RD 2, Helensville 0875. Now there is no more confinement for you, Wen.
At last you can run down your mountains with Bill once more. We love you. xxx

Dear Wendy!
Dear family and friends of Wendy,
it took a while until this sad message got around the world. My name is Ingo and I met Wendy & Bill in Namibia in 1997 and ever since we have stayed friends. My family and I came to visit Christchurch twice; later Wendy came to see us in Munich (part of Taegens ashes are buried in beautiful Upper Bavaria) and Canberra (2017 when we were posted to Australia). We visited Wendy in Nelson - the last time in October 2019! So many wonderful memories of a unique friendship! Lots of love from Germany - wishing all of you the best when we commemorate this first year without you, Wendy!

Wendy and I were close friends from the time when she lived near us in England. Although I was sad when she went to live in New Zealand, I was so happy that she had such a lovely life with Bill. She was such a warm person and so full of life. I remember the great times we had together, from yoga on our living-room floor when she came to stay to the fantastic 3-week trip she took me on round South Island.

I met Wendy via her son Dave ( here in Colorado ) he told me his mum was British ( as am I )
We met up a couple of times for wine and lunch .
