Wayne VOLLMER Obituary

Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on Sunday, January 11, 2026. Aged 77 years. Dearly loved and treasured husband of Jenny, loved dad of Emma, Amanda, and Chris, loved father-in-law of Mark, and Rachael. Adored Pops of Lily, Maisey, April, Eleanor, Rose, and the Duff clan. Wayne's family would like to send their sincere thanks to the wonderful team at the Nelson Tasman Hospice for their care and support. A service to celebrate Wayne's life will be held at the Sprig + Fern Māpua, 67 Aranui Road, Māpua, at 2.00pm on Tuesday, January 20, where we can raise a glass and share a story. Messages to the Vollmer family can be sent to C/- 164 Tahunanui Drive, Nelson 7011, or may be left online at www.shoneandshirley.co.nz/tributes. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at the service to the Nelson Tasman Hospice or online at nelsonhospice.org.nz/support-hospice/donate-funds.

Waynes passing so sad to know, Jenny and family my thoughts are with you during this time, I have many memories of business years together with Tasman Energy, and the use of your cottage in Penzance over years was very much appreciated and valued, Rest in peace Wayne it was a privilege to have known you.
