It is with heavy hearts that we inform you with great sadness that Walter passed away at Dunedin Hospital, on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, with family, aged 96 years. Loved and loving best friend of Jean for 68 years. Adored and patient father and father-in-law of Helen Ross (Mosgiel), and Murray and Louisa (St Arnaud). Dearly loved and respected grandfather of Paul and Lynley Freeman, Di and Paul McClimont, Debbie and Andrew Chinn; Tania and Rob Read, and Glen. Loved great-granddad of his 9 great-grandchildren.
