I am very sad to hear of Vanessa's death as will be her colleagues from The Princess Margaret Hospital, Christchurch. She was a delight to know and passionate about the care of older people. My condolences to you, her family.

To Stephen, Ben, Michael, Elizabeth and all the family, we were so sorry to learn of Vanessa's passing; you are in our prayers. We remember Vanessa for her friendliness, generosity and Christian faith - we take comfort in knowing that she is now with her Lord.

We were shocked and grieved to hear from Janet Slack yesterday of Vanessa's passing. We send many, many loving thoughts and our prayers and just trust that you'll have lots of family and friend support at such a devastating time. If the funeral is live- streamed we would be keen to watch it if we can (we have a prior commitment on Tuesday morning). So sorry. So very sorry.
