Vaila HACKWELL Obituary

Born September 30, 1929, passed away November 25, 2023, 15 days after Reg, her loving husband of 72 years. Mother and mother-in-law of Denise and Ian, Gayle, Kevin and Sylvia, and Sandee and Len. Special Nana to Nina, Tim, Brooke, Averil, Eldon, Melby and Eleni and Great-nana to Robbie, Ben, Cooper, Jett and Aurora. Friend to many. A celebration of Vaila and Reg's lives will be held at The Gardens of the World, Hope, Nelson at 2.00pm, on March 23, 2024. The family would like to thank friends, neighbours and the local community for their support of Vaila and Reg over the years.
