A great guy. When we arrived at work every morning stifling yawns, he'd tell us that he'd already done a 30km bike ride or climbed a mountain.
Stay forever young, Stu.

Dear Chris and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I hadn't seen Stu in years, but I remember him clearly that whenever we would pick or drop Johnny off at your house, he would be smiling with lots of hair, wearing his outdoor gear. Sending you all lots of love. Alex J xx

Never have I met another person with as much passion and enthusiasm for all things outdoors as Stu. His stunning hair and beautiful grin will be sadly missed. Linda, the bond and love that you and Stu had for each other was truly a gift that few of us ever get to experience. In the famous words of my favorite author "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.

My thoughts are with you in this time he was the most amazing pe teacher I could have in my time at Nelson Boys College in the 90s and always amazed me the way he kept up with us on runs and on the sports field and was an inspiration to me and others . Roy Knight x student 1990-1997
