Stephen HEBBERD Obituary

HEBBERD,
Stephen Andrew (Steve):
Aged 50. Suddenly and unexpectedly at home. Loved life partner of Jude, brother, uncle, son, cousin and friend. Steve's ashes are back at home. To celebrate Steve's life we are having a 'Progressive Farewell' at his D'Urville Home. By arrangement and at your leisure, friends and family are invited to share some time, a beer and the stories.

Steve was a great mate to me in my teens. He was 6 years older and took me under his wing and generally watched out for me. Gutted I didn't get to see you again after all these years mate. Rest easy.

What an awesome mate - generous, entertaining, practical and thoughtful. Always true to his conscience, he has our total respect.
An irreplaceable icon of d'Urville. The Island will never be the same without you.
We have so many good memories of Hebbie and now gutted as had planned to make plenty more.
Thanks Jude for the love, Steve was lucky to find you. Guess I'll have to call you now to find out the gossip.
Nelson Anniversary weekend will now be Hebbie Anniversary weekend at our place.
Will do our best to help anytime just as Steve did for us.
