Passed peacefully. At rest in the arms of his Saviour. Loving husband of the late Audrey. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Lyn and Neil, Graeme and Alie, Ali, Jude and Anthony. Very special Grandad to Chris, Tim and Jono; Michael, Susie and Kate; Roni, Isaac, Simon and Benjamin; Matt and Anna and loved Great-Grandad of his 22 great-grandchildren. We came to Dunedin Apostolic during exciting times of growth and mission. Stan and Audrey had planted the seeds. Our condolences to the family. Aroha nui, Ray and Jacqui Spence.

Stan was a wonderful pastor, teacher, friend and encourager. I first met him early in 1983 in Dunedin, visiting from Balclutha and last visited him in February 2024.
He and Audrey were always warm, hospitable and encouraging and I thank God for them. God alone knows the huge number of Believers scattered through the world that stand and bless their memories today.
Rejoice! For Stan now, "to be with Christ (in Glory) is better by far !"

Thankyou to all the Shaw family for sharing your precious Dad with us. He was a gifted teacher of the word and spiritual father to so many. I am blessed to have known him. May God comfort you all in the days and weeks coming as you adjust to the huge space that his change of address leaves. X x Shelley-Anne kim.
