Simon FLOOD Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, on June 2, 2024, aged 79 years 11 months; after a brief illness. Much loved husband of Evelyn. Loved father of Sam and Jo, and father-in-law to Chelsea. Loved stepfather to Sarah and Michael. Adored grandfather to Zoe, Esme, Jessie, Max, Katie, Nicole, Gracie, Zak, Dakota, Ellie, Lincoln, and Cruz. Beloved brother of Pete and Helen, Pip and Pete. Much loved uncle and family member. Will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. For close loved ones, a memorial service will commence at 11.00am on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Tasman Bay Cruising Club, 11 Cross Quay, Port Nelson. To Ev and family
So sorry to hear of Simon's passing.
We had a wonderful close working relationship sitting side by side for many years at Plasticraft. Simon was very much liked and appreciated by all his workmates a fun happy and caring man and always happy to help anyone out.
I so appreciated Simon being a close work buddy we had many laughs and happy times.
RIP my friend.

Knew Simon when he was at Cory's, and at the Plastics business in Parkers Road. He was always the gentleman, very friendly, and a talented photographer. Sincere condolences to the family.
