Shirley Ruth (nee Blay):
On August 29, 2017, passed away peacefully at Burwood Hospital, with family, aged 87 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Ken, loved mother and mother-in-law of Suzanne Ruth and Kevin, Jillian Ruth, Lynette Ruth and Murray, and Bryan John Blay, loved grandmother of Marc and Rosa, Brennan, Briana Ruth, and Jonty Blay, and great-grandmother of Lucas and Max. Special thanks to the amazing teams at Essie Summers and ward BG Burwood Hospital. Messages may be addressed to The Family of Shirley Griffiths, c/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimers Canterbury would be appreciated and may be made at the service. The service for Shirley will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Richmond, on Saturday, September 2, at 10.00am.
