Shirley BORLASE Obituary

On November 8, 2025, passed away peacefully at Charles Upham Retirement Village, Rangiora, aged 86 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Vincent, loved daughter of the late Isaac and Irene Barton, dearly loved sister of Ann and Eldon Hamilton, and Margaret and Peter Berry. Special Auntie of Paul Hamilton, Craig and Jenny Hamilton, Philip and Robyn Hamilton, Joanne and Matthew Hinman, Cameron and Michelle Berry, Ashley and Emma Berry, Rachael and Logan Negus, Barbara Warne, and their families.

Psalm 16:11 You have made known to me the path of life, you have filled me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Special thanks to all the staff at Charles Upham for your exceptional kindness and care. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Shirley Borlase, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A memorial service to celebrate Shirley's life will be held in the Manakau City Baptist Church, Auckland, on Friday, at 1.00pm. There is an opportunity for those who would like to gather together at Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, on Friday, November 14, at 1.00pm, to watch the livestream of Shirley's service.

Shirley was a friendly person and a faithful servant of the Lord Jesus.We were glad that she came down south to fellowship with us!She and I would reminisce about Dr Lewis from Church Corner!We will miss her.
