With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sheri, a radiant soul who touched the lives of all who knew her. Sheri was a woman of boundless energy, contagious laughter, and an unyielding zest for life. She passed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. Born with a spirit as bright as the New Zealand sun, Sheri made her home in Nelson.
Her life's journey was beautifully woven between the shores of New Zealand and Canada, where she was deeply loved by family and friends. Sheri is survived by her treasured son, who was the light of her life, her two devoted sisters, a beloved brother, as well as nieces and nephews who adored her as much as she adored them. Her extended family and lifelong friends across New Zealand and Canada will forever remember her warmth, her joy, and her contagious laughter. Sheri had a gift for making others feel seen and loved. Whether it was through her vibrant conversations, her thoughtful acts of kindness, or her unwavering support, she had a unique ability to make every person in her life feel special. She carried a lightness of being that inspired everyone around her, and her laughter could brighten even the darkest days. Sheri's life was one of love, courage, and celebration. She embraced every opportunity to make memories and live fully, leaving those who loved her with a treasure trove of moments to hold dear. Her absence leaves a void that will never be filled, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone lucky enough to have known her. A memorial service will be held in Nelson, New Zealand.
