Aged 80. Passed July 10, 2025, peacefully at Golden Bay Community Health Centre. Father of four. Maria Kotua and grandchildren Joshua, Aleisha, Jacob, Anton and Luke. Tanya Kotua and grandchildren Che, Natasha, Angel, Keita and Hayden and great-grandson Ridge. Phillip Kotua and Grandchildren Tarihi and Great-grandchildren Freya, Georgia and Easton. Katrina Kotua and Grandchildren Arja (late), Kalib, Jarren, and Skyla.

Farewell to my dear brother-in-law Selwyn. The periodic visits you used to make to Noho and I and our whanau have been missed over the last year or so (since Noho passed away). We have many memories from decades of interactions, and gatherings, including on D'Urville Island. My condolences and love to your whanau from our whanau.
