Dear Sharon & family - Please accept our condolences.Seddon's passing is a great loss for the city of Nelson.
Seddon unreservedly gave his support to us when we were involved in a complex development project at Nelson Regional Airport, without which we could never have completed the project. His kindness ,encouragement & assistance will never be forgotten.

After one particulary outrageous board meeting I drew the mayor Peter Malone aside and asked how anyone could possibly control Seddon!!
The Mayor smiled and said " Seddon is like a horse that has bolted. I don't try and stop him, I don't stand infront of him; rather, I just hang on for the ride and do my best to guide him roughly in the direction I want to go "!!

Dear Seddon, I remember you fondly with a lovely heart. You searched and found for me a doll I was looking for and you gave it to me and I will never forget you kind and thoughtfulness.

I have fond memories of a kind and lovely family man who was alway ready to listen to your problems, gave excellent advice and encouragement, and who will have been appreciated more and more as we all got older. Nelson was very lucky to have Seddon for as long as they did on the council. Love to everyone in the family. Annette

A clever and complex man. I had interaction with him over a collapsed finance company. I didn't get the chance to get to know him at a personal level, but he was always a gentleman.
