Cherished memories of our time together in London, England. We Kiwis lost a special person with your passing, Sara. Always remembered.

I knew Sara from her time at Kapiti College. She was popular and respected by both her students and colleagues. When I think of Sara I remember a competitive, enthusiastic and compassionate lady. I marvelled at her metabolism and envied her self confidence. I am sorry we lost touch. My thoughts are with her family and friends.

Ms Browne/Milne was seriously one of the kindest, sweetest, most caring people I have ever met. She had a way of getting along with everyone around her, her positivity and enthusiasm was infectious. She made everyone feel welcomed in her classroom and I know I speak for all the Queen Margaret girls when I say we were privileged to have her as our dean as she inspired us to try our best to succeed in our endeavours. She made an effort to get to know each of us individually. We were all very upset when she announced she would be leaving our school but we wished her every success because that is what she deserved. This is shocking to see how in a second everything can change so drastically. My thoughts are with her family and close friends during this hard time and I hope her beautiful child will know and learn about how amazing their mother was in years to come. Thank you so much Ms Browne, you were the most amazing PE teacher and dean I could have asked for. May you rest in peace xx

It was a real pleasure to have worked with Sara during her time at Queen Margaret College. She was much loved by her students and was a talented, confident, cheerful and much respected colleague. My heartfelt sympathies to her family. May the many happy memories she has left with you be a source of comfort at this time of loss.

Miss Browne, your kindnesses and ability to connect with students are some of the many reasons you will be forever remembered and missed by students who have had the pleasure of being taught or mentored by you. Thank you for all you have taught me over the years. I hope you rest in peace and my heart goes out to your friends, family and baby Rosa xxxx

It is my honour to represent the staff and students of QMC today at the funeral of Sara. Sara was a much loved and respected member of the school community and we were all privilidged to have known her. Her grace, wisdom, and compassion will be rememberd by all whose lives she touched. Miss Brown was my year 12 form teacher in her first year at QMC and was one of the kindest, most positive and funnest teachers I have ever had - despite my lack of enthusiasm for P.E! I was shocked and very saddened to hear of the passing of such a vibrant woman. My thoughts are with all her loved ones x

Miss Brown, you were such an inspirational teacher and you cared for all of us at QMC. I am glad to have had you as a dean you were so supportive and caring and always there for us. You were way more than just a dean to us and you were taken from us way to soon. Rest in peace and my thoughts go out to your family at this hard time. You will be missed terribly xx

Mrs Milne you will forever be remembered by every girl you've ever taught or been a dean for. I'll always remember you as the kindest (and least shout-y) dean I had at Queen Margaret and the best PE teacher, and not even cancer can take away those wonderful memories. In such a short time you've made such a mark on so many of our lives. I think we are all privileged to have had time in your presence and that you left the world a better place than it was before you came.

I have never met a teacher/dean who has cared so much about her students. She helped me and my friends through some tough times, and was so supportive. She will be missed dearly. Love from me and all the students at QMC xx

Miss Browne you were an inspiration to me through your kindness and open heart, you changed my life at QMC through allowing me to change form class at the beginning of year 10. You were the best dean I have had because you cared so deeply about everyone in our year. You were a teacher who I could go to for any problem since you went the extra mile to make sure we were all having a good year at school. You were definitely one of the most generous and caring teachers at QMC, and I am very grateful to have had you as my year 10 dean. Year 10 being one of my hardest years in high school, you took a genuine interest in each of our lives to ensure we were all happy. Thank you for all the advice and inspiration that you have shared with each of the lives you've touched. My heart goes out to your family and friends. Rest in peace.

Miss Brown cared for our year group so much, she was a loved teacher and dean for us. She was the most trustworthy and caring person I think I've ever met. She helped me personally and my close friends in 2010 and start of 2011 so much. She always hugged us when we needed it the most, let us cry on her shoulder and listened to everything we ever said. She inspired and helped so many girls and I thank her for that. I forever will be grateful for having such a bubbly, warm-hearted, caring person in my life! We all miss you and love you Miss Brown x

You were inspirational to so many girls at QMC. You were more than just a teacher, You were a friend. Thank you for everything you did for me in middle school. You always had an answer for every problem. Rest in peace Miss Browne, you were gone too soon xoxo

In loving memory of an amazing school dean and such a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always. You were my motivation and all the advice you gave me throughout school has helped me become who I am today.

As well as being an kind, generous and amazing person, Mrs Milne was also my Year 10 Dean and PE teacher a few years ago. Although Year 10 is considered to be one of the "tougher" years of high school, I think Mrs Milne made that journey exciting, fun and awesome for everyone. As well as going above and beyond in fulfilling her professional role, I think she was also everybody's best friend. All of us could openly talk to her about anything, we could ask her for help and she would always be in her office, ready to lend us a shoulder to cry on or to give a reassuring hug. Needless to say, I feel so blessed to have met such an inspirational person and my only regret is not keeping in touch. Although she may be forever gone, she will always be remembered. My prayers are with her friends and family during this incredibly hard time - Rest in Peace Mrs Milne.
