WATSON, Russell Walter:
In his 89th year, Russell passed away on July 22, 2022, surrounded by family. Russell was much loved by his recently deceased wife Margaret and he will be greatly missed by their children Susan, Michael and Claire, and Andrew and Leesa, grandchildren Jessie, Evelyn, Ben and Sarah, Thomas, Hazel and Aaron, Nicholas, and Charlie, and great-grandson Riley.
We'll forever treasure the way they loved us, and those we loved.
Russell was the youngest son of Reuben Ebeneezer and Minnie Watson of Renwick. A farewell gathering will be held for Russell at the Tasman Bay Cruising Club, TODAY, Friday, July 29 at 12.30 pm. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the team at Ernest Rutherford Retirement Village for the care and attention they gave to Russell over the last few years. It's meant the world. In light of the risks Covid poses to vulnerable people, we'd ask that those attending Russell's farewell either wear a mask or take a RAT test prior to arriving.

Dear Family,
My deepest sympathies to you all. It has been a delight to chat with both Margaret and Russell over recent time when visiting others at Ernest Rutherford. I have much admired your caring for your Mum and Dad and particularly record my admiration for your devotion Susan. My thoughts are with you.

We are so sorry for all the family with another loss to bear. Margaret and Russell were a great couple and now they will be together again. Thinking of you all.
