Rupert WINTER Obituary

1932 - 2023 Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Great-Great-Grandfather, Uncle, Drummer, Seeker, Founder of the Nelson Jazz Club and Nelson Jazz Festival, and lover of all things Nelson has passed away peacefully at The Wood Rest Home in Nelson on November 1, 2023, at 91 years of age. A huge thank you to The Wood, Nelson Tasman Hospice and Rata Medical for their loving care. There will be drinks and a jam honouring Rupert's wishes (in lieu of a Funeral) at The Sprig and Fern on Hardy Street on November 19, at 2.00pm, all welcome, bring your instruments and your stories.
