Royce, you have touched the hearts of so many people. It is a pleasure that we were friends for over 30 years, and that you were there for me in some pretty tough times. The memories I have will live on, and can never be taken away. Farewell mate, and give it heaps up there with Roger and Possum.

Royce, I drive past your workshop every day on the way to my current construction project and still can't believe you're gone from this earth and I won't just walk in one day for that oil change or wof. Thanks for all the times we chatted about rallying over doing an oil change or WOF on one of our cars. You always showed a genuine interest and never failed to give me the time of day. Your passing will leave a massive void in local and national Rallying, and motorsport at large. A truely genuine person whos memory I will always treasure having had the privilege to know you. My sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers are with all your family.

Royce, I don't know where to begin except that I'll miss you. You have done so much for me over the years, so much more than just a friend through rallying. I already miss our chats since I moved away for Chch. Thank you for just being you, for your friendship, for helpping me with bbq's, to bike repairs to pulling me out of a pond ....
I know you'll still be making sure we are all ok, just like you always have. So it's not goodbye, it's just until later.

So often when people die others say "he would do anything for you". For the most part it's a load of rubbish. But with you Royce, I truly believe you would have given the last beat of your heart to someone else if it might help them. We are so sad wee Angus will grow up never being able to remember meeting you. Here's to you big man. Bec, Angus, Jack and I will always be thankful for having you in our lives.

To an old friend, like countless others I was lucky enough to have had so much help and guidence from a generous kind hearted man in my Motorsport days. We take people for granted until its to late to say how great they were. Thanks for so many great memories Royce. Some day we will meet again, till then R.I.P old friend.

Such a sad loss to everyone that had the pleasure of meeting you Royce. You are a truley great guy, one of the few that would go out of your way to help and not expect anything in return. There are not enough people in this world of your caliber. I will miss our time we spent chating around both rallys and the circuits. You set up my rally car the last time I used it and it handled better that ever. I am sorry I will be out of the country for your service but I am there in my thoughts buddy.

Royce you leave such a hole behind that can't be filled. You have been "Something" to everyone. Thanks for all the help you gave unconditionally, the attempts at scaring me on gravel, your "Royce Hugs" and the great memories.
