Passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 26, 2017, aged 85. A Memorial Service to celebrate Roy's life will be held at Suburban Club on March 18, at 10.30am. Special thanks to the staff at Ernest Rutherford Rest Home and Hospital.

Roy was a great friend to all that knew him and will be sadly missed at Richmond Athletic and in the Nelson Soccer fraternity. Marg & I remember Roy for many good reasons over the last 45 odd years and especially the last time we saw Roy when he insisted on taking us to the airport the day we left Nelson to live in Australia. May the sidelines be with you.
