Roger SILCOCK Obituary

SILCOCK, Roger Johnson:

Dad passed away on October 6, 2022, in his 92nd year, after a short illness peacefully at Gore Hospital with family by his side. Son of Stanley (Stan) and Thelma Silcock (both dec) of Nelson and brother of Thora Cullen. Loved Husband of the late Maureen Dawn Silcock and the late Marilia Mueller- Silcock. Much loved dad and father-in-law of Lorraine and Robert (Australia), Gary and Raylene (Balclutha), Neville (dec), Shayne and Craig (Mayfield), Milton and Jude (Australia). Loved stepdad of Ian Skillen (dec) and Faye Skillen-Barlow (Tapanui), Margaret and Murray Kitto (dec) (Mataura), Thelema and Owen Frost (Christchurch). Much loved and treasured Grandad, of all his grandchildren and their families. Great mate to his many friends. Dads' wish was for his body to be donated to the Donor Programme at the Department of Anatomy. A memorial service for Dad will be held at a later date. Many thanks for the wonderful care Dad received from the Doctors and Staff at Gore Hospital, also to Ameila at Hospice and the Cancer Society.
