Roger HUNTER Obituary

On October 7, 2023, Roger died peacefully at the Dove Hospice in Caloundra , Sunshine Coast, Australia, aged 74, after another short stay in hospital. Dearly loved husband of Glenda and brother of Jont and brother-in-law of Sarah. Special uncle of Catrina and Stuart. Son of the late Marie and Dale Hunter. Step brother to Alan, Jane and Nicci and uncle to their families. As per Roger's wishers, a private cremation will be held on the Sunshine Coast and his ashes will be brought back to Nelson. We will always remember his good humour and special times all around the world.

Dear Glenda, we have just noted Roger´s passing. So sorry to hear. A sad way to learn of your whereabouts, having tried many times since leaving Rabaul in 1979 to find where you and Roger went.
Please accept our sincere condolences. Hopefully we can catch up some day. We have been in Mount Gambier since 1987 and are moving back to Adelaide later 2024.
