Sometimes in our life we are privileged to meet a person of great inspiration and vision never to be forgotten. John was that man in my life as I worked with him as Treasurer for 7 years whilst he was Chair of the National Party in Nelson. Our sincere condolences Irina, your loss is great and shared in part with so many who's lives John had touched.
John´s generosity in sponsoring and championing our ride on a lawnmower through the Molesworth last year to raise funds for the Nelson Hospice and Cancer Society, is a memory we shall remember always for John and your generosity and John´s determination to make it such a success. Just one of the very many generous gestures made.
Rest easy John and know that you made a difference to many.
