Robert PAINE Obituary

JP (Rtd). Passed away peacefully at Kensington Court, on August 31, 2024, aged 99 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Beryl, cherished father and father-in-law of Dianne and Bill, Linda and Lester, and Fiona and Mark. Much loved 'Grandbob' to his grandchildren Matt, Emma and Sam; Tim, Glen and Nick and Great 'Grandbob' to Harry, Ella and Lia. Loved brother of Marjory and uncle to Pauline and Graeme. Loved by all who knew him. Many thanks to the staff at Kensington Court for all their kindness.
The friends of Bob are respectfully informed that his funeral service will be held at Marsden House Funeral Home, 41 Nile St Nelson on Wednesday 4 September 2024 commencing at 2.00pm. Bob was my neighbour over the road. We had the occasional drink and a catch-up on days gone by. Will miss the stories from the times of him working making trains and told me about growing spuds on a frost free paddock.
