In his 92nd year. It is with deep sadness to inform you that Bob, Dad, Grandad Bob, Great-Grandad Bob, friend and our family member have passed away at Kensington Court, Nelson. Loved by his children, grandchildren and families: Stephen and Joanne Hunt: Quintin Hunt, Rachael Shlaadt - Issabella Hunt, Jonathan and Carrie Hunt – Bridget and Brett Hunt, Danielle Hunt, Margaret Earney, Jenna Baxter and Jean Venter - Asher and Aria Venter, Jayden and Dina Baxter - Jadey and Delaney Baxter, Chris Baxter, Christina and Daisuke Minamizawa, Hunt family from Reefton. Beloved son of Joe (Joseph) and Madge (Margaret) Hunt (nee Buttress), brother of Jim (James) and Michael Hunt. Formerly married to Joyce Hunt, and Perry families of Mapua. We welcome you to Bob's final shindig and celebration of his amazing adventurous life, held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 1.00pm, at the Reefton Racecourse. My late father, George Harrison got to know Bob when he was working at the Eyrewell Forest after the "big blow" of 1975. He was a person Dad greatly respected and appreciated and he became well-known in our community for the high standard of his workmanship.

So sorry to read that Bob has passed away. He was such a great friend of Irene and Gordon and he and Gordon undertook and achieved many amazing projects. An icon in Maruia. RIP Bob.
