Robert HUGHES Obituary

Robert Hughes passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 in his 97th year. Beloved husband of Ruth for 75 years, loving father of Shelley and Alex (Margaret), grandfather of Heather (Jamie), great grandfather of Zachary. Predeceased by son-in-law Philip. Bob was with the Hamilton Hydro for 35 years. He enjoyed camping with National Campers & Hikers. The family traveled all over Canada and USA. Later he lived his dream and spent a month is East Africa on safari. Other travels included Britain, Europe, USSR and China. Bob sang with the Sackville Hill Singers for ten years and took a keen interest in genealogy. Thank you to the staff at the Wellington Nursing Home. Cremation has taken place.
