Remembering 16th April 1984

I'm so sorry you have lost Bob. You both complimented each other so much. Bob was always kind, thoughtful and non judgmental. I will never forget the time he willingly accompanied you Lyn to Christchurch when I had to have someone around during my stem cell transplant. Bob happily stayed there with you when you had to extend your stay until Sharon came down. He said "its family, you do anything for family". And of course all family was important to him. He will leave a big gap in your life which I know will be hard for you Lyn the family, children and step children as well as the grandchildren. I'm thinking of you and hope you don't hesitate to ask if you need a hand. Love always Heather

Thinking of you Lyn, I remember how much fun Bob was at all the BBQ's. I managed to find the two of you in a photo at my wedding many moons ago. Love Suzanne

My sincere sympathies to Lyn and family, Bob was such a lovely person, when I was merchandising for Arnotts/Effem foods, a true gentleman.

I too had many dealings with Bob during my 16 yrs with Nestle/Purina. He was certainly one of the best. My thoughts are with you all at this sad time.

We both remember the days that Bob owned Hardy Mall Supervalue.
A great fun guy who treated everyone fairly and with lots of laughter and respect .
