It is with great sadness we announce the death of Rob Cameron on February 22, 2018. Rob passed away in Kina, Tasman - his favourite place in the world. Rob will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Maureen and their children Mark, Daniel and Emma, their partners Elizabeth, Emma and Luke and his five beautiful grandchildren Xander, Charlie, Tilly, Benji and Goldie. A passionate, committed New Zealander, always generous with his time. Rob lived life to the full and was much loved. He will be missed by many. No flowers by request but donations to Gillies McIndoe Research Institute would be greatly appreciated and may be left at the funeral service.

All are invited to attend a service to celebrate Rob's life at 2.30pm, on Friday, March 2, 2018, at the Wellington Cathedral of St Paul, Hill Street, Wellington.

A dear friend and a wonderful colleague who never failed to fill Kiplings' "unforgiving minute with sixty seconds worth of distance run". He worked wholeheartedly, generously, and with great insight to help others achieve better outcomes. His loss is our loss.

When my career at NZ Police came to an abrupt halt in 1998, Rob, as a member of the Harkness community, came to me and said "We know what happened. We know it's not fair. I'm here for you. Just ask." I've never forgotten Rob's generosity of spirit. Go well Rob.
